This year to celebrate the 63rd Independence Day, we (Me, Vipin, Shirish, Yuvraj, Arathi and Sanjeev) decided to make a trip to the Nandi Hills, a place blessed with the beauty of nature! We started for the trip early in the morning, the chilling cold... the darkness of the pre-dawn time... nothing could stop us from moving ahead. Nandi Hills is known for its best sunrise views but to our luck, that was a cloudy morning with no sunrise :( But then, it was a blessing in disguise for we would have missed the early morning scenery. It was just amazing... the clouds were flying high are we were at a place even higher than the clouds. Nothing could have been more liberating than this on the Independence Day. The turned-twisted roads alongside the hill was superb... where we used to take breaks to capture the natural view in one shot! By the time we reached the hill top... many people were already there. We definitely had a great time... while taking pictures or while eating lays or biscuits ;) Monkeys actually made my day... it was such fun watching their pranks! The memorable part came when we sang the National Anthem on the top of the mountain with the Tiranga flying high... that moment was awesome!! We felt as if we are on the top of the Siachen or Himalaya! The old age architecture was simply fabulous and can make anyone go speechless.
With lots of fun and experiences, the I-Day ended. Though I missed the flag hoisting and some patriotic music, yet the day was wonderful... full of energy... full of life!!
