Adieu 2009 ..!!

The idea of writing this post came into my mind suddenly when I was busy reading my older posts and was completely lost in my world. Really, 2009 has been quite important and eventful for me... let it be in terms of emotions or academics or anything.

The year started while I was in college... enjoying classes, picnics, parties, birthdays and reading novels... watching movies... organizing functions. Not forgetting the academics part, we were busy in our projects also. Then time came, our classes were suspended and exam plans were out. We, bothered least about the sems, were busy in creating memories... spending more time with friends. Future was drawing nearer but we wanted to push it further... such was the time. Most of the quality times were those of the get-togethers... big or small... doesn't matter..!!

Then all of a sudden, the exam started and we got busy in our studies. Last sems are often tough for people having loads of memories. In the midst of exam, friends started leaving the college. I somehow adjusted myself, not to be emotional as I had more exams to give. Special moments came and went in between. Then finally, I reached the last day in my college. Some special friends made that really special. Such was the moment that, I could not help crying..!! Tears drop from my eyes even today when I think of that day. Next day early morning, my group started their trip and I really can't explain those moments (better not to do now, even). I too left in the afternoon... after meeting everyone.. with wet eyes..!!

Life at home then began rushing towards future. I was engrossed trying here and there my luck. And then, my fate smiled at me and within a month, I was again out of home... to a new world... the world of Corporate... almost all software engineer's world..!! Initial days were more or less like those academics days... we had to study... give tests... do projects... give seminars... blah blah. But within 3 months, that period also ended and we were into proper work and are still into it. This new world is really difficult to survive but not impossible.. and I am trying my level best. All that I have now is the memories of my Golden days... my college days... time with my loved ones... with my friends..!! When stressed at work, I think of these days... make myself happy and then get back to work... thinking, atleast I have all these memories treasured in my heart..!!

2009 has been great... blessed me a lot... though, there are still many desires left... yet it's good. As Reshma says,"Put your hand on your heart, smile and say... All is Well..!!". Hope 2010 also brings all good things to everyone. Amen..!!

You never always get what you desire but you always get what you deserve..!!

Golden Palms Special ..!!

After working for days and hours together, finally we got some time to relax our thinking nerves and take a day break from the monotonous schedule. An outing was decided to one of the most special as well as famous places in Bangalore, the Golden Palms Resort & Spa... the one which belongs to the actor Sanjay Khan, who played the dynamic role of the great warrior, Tipu Sultan and also the father-in-law of the superstar Hrithik Roshan.

The trip was quite refreshing and for the first time, I saw the sportive attitude of the Software Developers, who are by default very serious-looking and always lost in their systems. All the way, we cracked jokes and played Antakshari. After reaching the venue, we had breakfast but I was carried away by the beauty of the place, so full of nature..!! I took the snapshots and then moved to the cricket ground. The game was a great show, though my team didn't win :-) After cricket, various other games were tried. It was a great experience indeed. Then we gathered for lunch, which was quite delicious and contained almost all punjabi cuisines. I was quite happy for having good food after a long time (Bangalore food, really pathetic). We all moved to the swimming pool area. Here the whole place looked like heaven. I had a good time here with my camera. The pool here is the world's largest pool in any resort. I must add to it, this resort altogether is a place blessed with nature in all respects. Then there was a session of more fun games but it couldn't last long due to the rain. We all hurried back to bus. In bus also, the fun continued, we played Dumb Charade and read out all the notes of the Fish Tank... the common box, where one can write out chits addressing friends, colleagues or co-workers. And finally... with loads of fun and noise, the day ended. Hope more such outings to come in future..!!

Apologizing does not mean that you are wrong and the other one is right... It simply means that you value the relationship much more than your ego ..!!

Part Of A Big Family ..!!

After my joining in Ness, I was wondering how my life would be. I belong to a joint family where you are always surrounded by one or the other around you and I was quite used to such kind of environments. The same feeling had occurred when I left my home for college but thanks to all my friends for making my life so easy. Now that I am in a completely different atmosphere, life would have been very tough for me... but luckily, I got a family here also... the one of its kind... and a special one too. This is the family from where I will start my professional career. Yesss.... it is none other than the Ness-Quintiles family.

On 16th October i.e Friday, we had an All Hands Meet, celebrating 3 years of bond between Ness and Quintiles. That was indeed great... got to know a lot of people... their working style... and many more... overall a good learning experience. Personally, I was quite happy to see my brother in a team of Americans. 'Simple living, high thinking' is the only phrase that comes in my mind to describe him. A person so down-to-earth... I wish rest of my family members were also there to see him..!! Hope these good things keep coming our way, always.

Ness Family Day ..!!

The most awaited day came.. Ness Family Day.. the grand event for which all of us were waiting. After the training, we prepared ourselves for the function, organised at Manipal County Resort, Bangalore. The event was much more enjoyable than what we actually thought. May be because we were in a group. Whatever be the reason, fun was unlimited..!! The photo sessions, the games, the events and even the food items... all were nice. The entire atmosphere was quite lively and energetic. We are lucky enough to be a part of the event when all were together... GETs from Bangalore as well as from Mumbai... our gang..!! Hope in the next family day also, we would be together...

Longest is mother's love. Shortest is other's love. Sweetest is lover's love but Strongest is friend's love..!!

Party.. Party.. Party ..!!

Training at Ness has left us with minimum time to enjoy. As a result, we keep on celebrating each and every moment that comes our way... let it be anyone's birthday or Sunday's lunch or our evening rounds for sweets. Those were really cool. Some moments to remember forever are Ashish and Shridhar's birthday party, Shraddha and Sushma's birthday celebration, luncheon at Bhojahuri Manna and Kohinoor, dinner at Dal Roti and Hyderabad House, daily visit to Sukh Sagar and Shanti Sagar for sweets and... the list goes on. All those events always reminded me of all the fun-filled moments of college. Time passes so early leaving us behind with tons and tons of memories to cherish forever. God knows, when we will have such moments again... moments full of life..!!

Welcome To Wonderla ..!!

Out of our busy schedule at Ness, finally we found time to go for enjoyment. We decided to go Wonderla, Asia's largest funpark and that was simply amazing. We never knew that life would be such a fun even when we are into corporate.

The rides at Wonderla were just amazing... horrifying too but still enjoyable. Amongst those, I would never forget the scary ride, which was the funniest ride ever. Besides, rain dance, wave pool were also fun. Overall the day was quite entertaining which left us with millions of memories to cherish forever..!!

Love is the masterkey that opens the gate of happiness..!!

1st Step In Future ..!!

After college, life has become tougher. New challenges have come into picture. There is now the implementation of Darwin's Theory... Survival of the Fittest..!! Anyways, I was lucky enough to get a job. A career in software field, that too in a company like Ness... it's like a dream come true..!! What more I could have wished for??

I had my interview on 13th of July... a day of much more importance in my life... the anniversary of my parents. I got through Ness, that adds to it more. That day I got the results of my last semester... I did fair enough..!! What's more??

Now I am busy with my new life in corporate... trainings on... need to give more input to get satisfactory results. But still, I have not stopped blogging and will never stop even. The only thing I miss will... I would have less postings on fun days ( I hope there are many here as were in college..!!)

The first day in office was interesting... started with introducing each other, knowing each other and many more. The game show Riti's Murder Mystery was quite fun..!! Starter was good... hope it continues in the days to come..!!

The Best Farewell ..!!

Gradually we have moved from the 1st day to the last day in college. 8th Sem exams over and I will be soon moving to home on 22nd of May. Last day should be made special.. thinking that... I decided to visit the AID site and spend my time in a better way with all my loved ones.

Everything was planned. Me and Reshma asked Anurag to join too. He came there with Aadi.. as a surprise package for us. Reshma had the feeling of being in the get-together and I was totally enjoying the drama. Chocolates.. sweets.. mangoes and everything... were just memorable. We had a photo-session there. I was happy because nothing could have been more special than this. I was with my very dear friends on the last day of my life in jitm. Nothing could have been more great than this. Thanks Aadi... Reshma... Anurag... for making my day. Though we were given gifts but the memories which we had that day... is the best gift of all and will be with me till the end of my life. That was the best farewell... the most special one... unfogettable one ...!!

Intelligent Technocrats Together ..!!

The time has come for the ITians to have a get-together and have some fun-filled moments which can be cherished forever. And yes... the ITians did that. The time seemed like moving very fast... perhaps due to the various entertaining programmes over there or may be, because all were quite busy in enjoying with friends. The time in the class room could be better described as a quality time as we had the playful way of learning. All those boring lectures were bearable because of the friendly environment we had. Those moments were the best moments..!!

Classes are over.. yet the comedies created by Subha, Santosh, Budhha, Sitakanta and almost everyone are forever memorable. Let it be Shiv's sleepy mood inside the class or Riyaz's song sessions... all those time will no more return. Reshma and Shatavisha's late entries into class and their title Lady Dianas... Kaushal and Kanhu's chemistry in changing the names' accent... Arun's importance in Computer Security class... Pooja's studiousness... ITians nature in Marketing Management class... Padmaja's irritations regarding studies... Chira's proxy tension... picnics... parties... study tour... song competition... photo sessions... ... ... all those moments are now wrapped in this get-together. This time won't ever return... these friends won't be there... all we would have with us is... the sweetest and best moments... the moments which would make us laugh and cry... yet always worth cherishing..!!

Project Success ..!!

6th April was our project demonstration in the exhibition held at JITM. We worked the whole night, preparing for it and were expecting good results... after all I had my Kismat Konnection that day. The demo was too good and we also got to know about various other projects. We came out of the hall with a happy heart.

Finally the result of the demo was out and we ranked 1st. That's a great achievement indeed. It was also published in the paper. This success reminded us of the hurdles we had... the various problems we faced... how fraustrated we were... how tensed we were..!! But we were firm in our decision of going for the same project and the result is before us. We came out with flying colours..!!


There are three ways of achieving success: Hardwork... Hardwork... Hardwork..!!

A Grand Treat ..!!

Now that the project and grand viva is over, the time is entirely left for fun only. Actually this is the time to create memories of the last days in JITM... the last days of our college life.

Sudip and Hiranmay gave a party on 31 March for their birthday. Me, Reshma and Pooja were invited. That treat was the best treat ever I had in JITM. The food items and the service at Srikunj was the best I ever had. We ate with our stomach full. Then there was the provision for dessert. We couldn't make it... so we packed all those and started for Pathapatnam. The visit to the Sai Temple was nice... nature was at its height... cool breeze was blowing... birds chirping and all of us quite set for fun..!! We had photo sessions and the entire session was quite enjoyable. We tried finishing the fruits we brought but failed. The beautiful scenery was creating a striking impression in our hearts. We really had a quality time. While coming back, we enjoyed the coconut milk and ice-creams.

We were so full that we had to skip the dinner that night and also the breakfast the next morning. Such was the treat.. the grand treat..!!

End of A Great Day ..!!

The greatest day for a person in 8th Sem is the day of Project Presentation. So accordingly, I can say that 29 March was the greatest day in my B.Tech life. Preparation for project presentation part was okay but Grand Viva... it filled my mind with terror. We worked to our best and finally went for the test. A final call came for our team and we went upstairs and waited outside. As usual, I was quite tensed waiting for my luck to shine. Just then a miracle happened and I had my Kismat Konnection... the same lucky person came before me. That actually worked. I regained my confidence and went for the presentation. All of us enjoyed the test and that was a success. The External was quite happy with our project and that was our reward.

On the successful completion of our project, I would like to thank my group mates, our guide and ofcourse other faculties and friends who have helped us a lot in one way or the other..!!


Success comes to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams..!!

Pragyan's Day ..!!

On 27 March, after completing my e-project viva, I planned to celebrate Pragyan's birthday. Pragyan... the very special person in my life in JITM... has been with me in my good and bad times, more or less as a friend. My aim was to make his day special but that indirectly made my day.

We went to the town to celebrate his birthday and there I was with all my loved ones. After the party, we went to Pathapatnam where I had planned for his cake cutting. That was ofcourse a surprise for him. Anyway, the plan was a success and I could finally celebrate Pragyan's birthday during our last days in JITM.

Hey Pragz, life make take us apart but feelings beyond words will always keep us in contact..!!

Life is all about moving towards future, without looking back..!!

Sec - F Get-together ..!!

Life is a series of events.. each day something new happens. Now a days, our lives are more or less engaged in creating memories... sweet memories to be treasured forever..!!

21 March was the get-together of our 1st year friends in Section-F. I was not interested initially thinking what I am going to do in the party, where many of us have no contacts with each other. But being the Class Representative of the class, I somehow agreed to join the party, quite unaware of the idea that this party could also be special like every other parties. To my utter surprise, the reunion was a grand venture... all old memories refreshed... some friends became close and close friends became closer. The events, the lunch and the chit-chats added cream to the party. Moreover, the location (AID Site) was also quite complementary to our event.. just perfect for such an event to happen.

The day finally ended and we returned to our daily lives carrying such blessed memories in hearts..!!


The purpose of life is a life of purpose..!!

Last Class ..!!

Time and tide waits for none. It always goes on in its way. If you have to move in life, you have to go along with the time. Gradually the day has come for us to end the classes.. the first call for us from the outer world.. full of competitions and complexities.

March 20.. a day to remember, as it is the day when we attended our last class ever. The fun filled life has taken its first step of departure. The enjoyment in class.. let it be bunking the class or attending any lecture.. let it be teasing any friend or simply sleeping.. let it be giving proxies for friends or just looking at the teacher with a blank mind.. has finally come to a halt, not a halt exactly but to a stop. This time won't ever come back.. the fun days won't ever happen again, yet the memories we have carried these four years, will be with us life long.



Life is an old pair of jeans. The more you wear it, the more you are comfortable in it..!!

Last Function in JITM ..!!

With the advancement of time, now we have reached the last stage of our college life and also the last days of fun. 6th and 7th March, we had our annual techfest... last techfest in JITM. That was a grand venture.

We had to work like anything to make it happen smoothly and the results it showed was quite satisfying. We also had fun while working. Besides, we (Me and Reshma) had our presentation too and the way we prepared in a less time was absolutely remarkable. Even though we were not awareded for that... but we were happy that atleast we tried.

The cultural programme was a great show. The skit played by our batchmates was superb and that moment is still afresh in my mind. The performance by Harpreet and Yashita was good but our performance (of girls) was eye-catching. Finally the two-days fun ended but the memories it carried and the experience we gained working with the juniors (Zarjish, Sekhar, Satyam and Debashis) will be with us lifelong.


Only limits on your life are those that you set yourself..!!

A Good Get-together ..!!

Lisha invited all the IT girls and Shiv, Kaushal, Riyaz and Arun to her home... so as to have a small party. We went there with mind full of tensions for project and seminar but that get-together proved to be a kind of relaxation for all of us. We did enjoy the party and had a great time. Although we could not stay longer but still that made our day. We all came out with a lighter heart and smiling face. All thanks to Lisha, who sang for us and showed us her hidden talents. Riyaz, no doubt, is a good singer.. so no comments for him. But Shiv...??? He cheated us..!! He sang after we left the place (C'mon Shiv... You have to do that again..!!). Overall, the first part of the day was enjoyable.

Like it always happens, we totally forgot all the tensions we had for projects and results... and then all of a sudden result was published. That moment nearly killed all of us..!! But thank God, we all did well.


Luck is what happens when preparation meet opportunity..!!

Happy Birthday To Me ..!!

In four years, finally I celebrated my birthday... rather I shared it with Reshma on her birthday i.e. 18th February. That was quite great, though we had some bad times in between, yet the day remained special for me all the same.

Distributing cake to the friends in the boys' hostel was really an important task.. we had to schedule and manage everything and anyways, they all ended peacefully. I could talk with all those people who hold a special place in my life and thus they made my birthday lively.

Besides, it was Reshma's birthday... the person who is quite close to my heart. I am really happy that I got the chance to share my joy with her, in this last year.

Valentine's Day ..!!

14th Feb, the day of love... is a very special day in everyone's life. A day for the loved ones, not necessarily couples. It could be between anyone. Anyways, what I believe is, each day brings with itself new hope and aspirations and so each day must be celebrated with equal pleasure.

My Valentine's Day was quite enjoyable. I had really a great time with my friends and family. All the moments are still afresh in my mind and since this is the last V'day in JITM... so these are the time which I will always carry with me, wherever I may go in my life..!!

Happy Valentine's Day..!!

A Trip To The Dreamland ..!!

An industrial visit was planned for us to the Infosys at Bhubaneswar. I had to make changes in my plan so as to attend that. I was totally unaware of the fact that the trip would be one of the best journeys. We started at around four and it took complete 24 hours to reach at CIT. We started Antakshari at around 5 pm and it continued till 12:30 am. As time went on, our game became more serious. Finally we had to stop after dinner. Even though, most of our friends slept, we continued singing and finally got the name of Radio Chocolate.

Next day, we visited Infosys. The place was not less than a dreamland. The atmosphere it had, the quality they maintained was actually worth praising. The discpline of the place was also outstanding. We had lot of fun there and the experience which we gained has no match.

Everything becomes nice... when you are surrounded with people you love to be with. Likewise, the trip was a successful venture because of the friends. Again, this trip has been added into my memory book so that I can feel its essence ever..!!

Another Birth Day ..!!

29th Jan was the birthday of Shatavisha and Sha was also celebrating that, as we had planned. Bithdays are being more enjoyable these days... may be our time is drawing nearer. Anyways, the whole programme was a success. We had to wear saree again.

All the same, the ocassion was again a memorable one. These moments would not be with us in future.. but the memories will always be treasured in our hearts.

Last Picnic in JITM ..!!

On 11 Jan'09, we had the departmental picnic, rather an excursion, to four different places... Bhairavi temple, Sunapur delta, Chilika, Kalijai. A bit hectic to listen but I, infact we all had a great time at all the places.

The best thing for me was my entire group of girls was there... a picnic like thing for all of us for the first time..!! That was quite exciting. The boys were also good, more than we had anticipated. The fun at all those places, especially in the boat while going to the temple of Kalijai was remarkable. Finally the lunch at the Chilika Dhaba... over the delicious and the most special items.. prawns and crabs was unforgettable. So overall, the total venture was a success. The memories are no doubt, amongst the best days at JITM.


Life goes on... man grows old... but memories... they are forever fresh and sweet..!!

A Memorable Birthday ..!!

09 January A very special date for all of us (my group). It's the birthday of Pooja and Annie. Being the first birthday in the new year, we thought of making it a bit special. The fun of celebrating the birthday started right from buying the gifts to entering the party in sarees, making everyone shocked..!! The celebration in the class too was enjoyable. Though we had a bit hectic day, yet the memories of it are for lifetime. The last birthday with friends at the college is quite special and is going to be with us till the last day of our life..!!

Dear Annie and Pooja... you have been great and time spent with you these four yours are just unforgettable. Hi Friends...

So the year 2008 has taken an adieu and year 2009 has taken its step into our lives. Many questions must be hurdling in mind now.. many predictions shaping up.. how this New Year is going to be.. what results it is going to give.. yet apart from all these thoughts, one thing is for sure, our minds are preoccupied with new ideas, new hope and many more ambitions.

My new year day was wonderful. It could not have been much better because I celebrated it in the most favorite place of mine.. that's my village. Enjoying the feast there.. going to Puri.. meeting relatives and family friends was quite wonderful. Got the good news of Putul Apa's marriage.. what could be more exciting than this ..!!

As my new year celebration was such, I wish the same for all others too. May this New Year bring you all sorts of happiness, success and make your life a happier place to live.
