Corporate Bash ..!!

Quintiles and Ness completed their 4 years of partnership! This reason is enough for a celebration. We had the party at Club Cabana. The place was cool with all water games (which I could not enjoy) but then I had my camera with me, which kept me busy.

We had loads of fun on our way with Antakshari and Dumb Charade... the people around were so fun. Then we had a nice dancing time with the DJ playing at a distant place :) This was special as we had people from outside of our friends' circle enjoying with us. I also tried my hands at playing darts and bowling. That was enjoyable. With all singing, dancing, playing, fun and frolic, the event ended. The photo sessions we had are a proof that we enjoyed in the outing throughout!

Hope to have many such occasions in future :)

Lost Flavour of 26th January ..!!

National festivals were always special in school and college. But once that mode changes, everything change... no more flag hoisting... no more sweets... no more national anthem... everything lost! When you are in a corporate, this day is a holiday, of all things.

Staying back at home is boring on such days, but then you have no other choice as well. Thankfully this year on Republic Day, Apu came to my place. I was out for lunch and dinner with her and whole day we gossiped, talked about a number of things, number of people... it was good. In the night (late evening for me), we watched the videos of some all time hit patriotic songs. Like every other year, this year also I watched the very special "Mile Sur Mera Tumhara...".. that was the sole celebration of Republic Day from my side!

Today is also the birthday of Lala Bhai and I could do nothing other than wishing him! In addition, it is the birthday of cute Sriyansh as well.

Vip's Birthday ..!!

Today is our dear friend Vip's birthday and am glad we were able to celebrate it in the best possible way. After lots of planning and discussions, Coffee n U was decided to be the venue. Cake and snacks were ordered beforehand and there was also provision of music and dance as well. We all reached there before and made all the arrangements and then came the 'hero' of the day. It was such a pleasant surprise for him! All of us were there except Yuvraj, he could not join as he had to leave for home due to some unavoidable circumstances.

Vip's birthday this year is his last birthday in Ness. Don't know how the coming year would be.. so making this special and wonderful was utmost important and we did achieve that. Thanks to everyone who joined us in making this a success!

Hey Vip, as each year passes, hope you scale the greatest heights of success and happiness be your companion always... amen!

Birthdays On ..!!

5th Jan is always a day for celebration for me. It is my official birthday and also the birthday of my little dear ones... Smarak and Aadit! This year Mitu Apa was giving her marriage treat on this day. Though official party yet it was a homely affair for me due to the presence of Lala Bhai. It always feels good when he is around!

From there, I went with Bhauja to FabIndia where I got a gift.. a new dress :) I was also gifted from my company but this time it was special due to my extended team... the card was almost full! Back home, Smarak's birthday was postponed to a weekend which means I had to be at their place for the whole of weekend, which was so much fun.

We got a special 'BlackBerry' cake for him and he was utterly happy to see that. There I met his cousins and her Japanese aunty. It was so nice meeting them... they are just awesome! With loads of fun and excitement, his birthday was celebrated. On the other hand, I just wished Aadit, which was the max thing I could do from here!

The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the past better than it was, the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved!

Welcoming 2011 ..!!

2010 was quite eventful. It has given me ample reasons to celebrate and loads of memories to cherish. Within those simple, cute moments... I could hardly know when time flew and the year ended. Now it is time for 2011, a new year! I have always looked forward in life because life has always given me a lot in lots of ways. I never have the option of regretting anything in my life. So obviously, stepping into the new year is gladly taken by me, for it would bring with it many more occasions to celebrate, memories more events to rejoice, many new aspirations and hope!

Stepping into the new year, I feel I am more matured... my understanding and perception towards certain things and people have changed. I have decided of not taking anything too seriously, you never know where it may hurt. But I never intend to be so careless that it may hurt anyone at any point of time. Taking care of certain things, certain situations and certain people in life is important. Hope I live up to my expectations!

Let the new year be a wonderful one and hope it brings joy and happiness to all! It started off well with friends (Vip, Yuvraj, Arathi, Jahnavi, Ritesh and Sachin). Some of my very dear friends from college (Ajit, Arun, Pragnya and Sony) also came to my place for a party. It was such a fun! Hope time passes smoothly for all... amen!
