15th August- a day of glory in the Indian history, a day for which every Indian is proud for, a day which we celebrate each year to mark our independence..!! The morning was quite cool, fresh with patriotism filled in air. The flag hoisting, the celebration overall was quite heart-touching. At hostel, the movies of the day added a lot to the mood... inspired a lot to move forward... do something for the country. The desire of listening the evergreen patriotic song "Mile Sur Mera Tumhara" by Pandit Bhimsen Joshi was fulfilled. The song, though quite old, is yet lively in our minds. We could never forget the beautiful lines in the voice of the Melody Queen Lata Mangeshkar. The picturization and everything in it was quite impressive.
India has achieved a lot in this one year. Let it be the case of Vishwanathan Anand or Abhinav Bindra, Tata's nano or Info Tech sector developments, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam or Mrs. Sunita Williams, India has distinguished herself amongst the powerful countries of the world. The symbolizations given by the Indian Tricolor Flag has rightly been achieved, India has prospered a lot and has shown the integrity and harmony over the cost of the sacrifices given by the brave soldiers, guarding for our safety without caring for their own self. Let it be human resource or natural resource, India has given us every chance to be proud of her.
Friends, keeping the feelings of patriotism lively in our hearts, let's fight terrorism, naxalism, illiteracy, ignorance, superstitions, poverty and make the place better so that India will ever remain the crown in the world. In terms of Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma, India is the best in the whole world -Sare Jahan Se Achha Hindustan Hamara..!! Let's show the world how India is the best... let's show the unity in diversity, the culture, the values, the uniqueness India has. Let's make others know, why we feel proud of being an Indian ..!!

Proud To Be An Indian ..!!
Season Of Treats ..!!
Time and tide waits for none. We are now in the final year. After some months, this session will also come to an end. We would have nothing with us except the wonderful moments... the memories which would bring a smile on our lips.
All that starts well, ends well. Keeping this thought in mind, I believe that the moments we live now will be a treasure for the entire life. The world always seems better if there are friends around and this is the message conveyed through these gatherings ..!! Hope to have more such gatherings and memories for lifetime.
Friends are a promise made in the heart... Silent... Unwritten... Unbreakable by distance... Unchangeable by time ..!!

Success & Failures..!!
Success and Failures are two sides of a coin which add flavors to life. Last few days were quite crucial. Being anxious about results and placements, days were becoming too hard for me. Going for campus and returning back was gradually making me hopeless and fraustrated. Slowly I started being scared about my end semester results which was about to be out soon. But luckily I came out from this tension with results more than what I had expected. Thank God, I could regain my lost confidence and now I am fully recharged. The thought of going for a campus has vanished from my mind and now am concerned about my studies only. Finally I could recover from the stress. Thanks to my Papa, Ma, Chinki and all my well-wishers for being a great support. I am really blessed to have such nice persons surrounding me..!!
This year has also been good for some of my friends... for they got through campuses..!! Ajit, Arun, Riyaz, Ashutosh, Manita and Aparna got placed in Satyam. Again Shiv and Manita made their way to Infosys. CONGRATS ...!! And for those who are still there.... "Failures are not the ending, they are always the pillar of success. You simply need to move forward without stopping..!!" These are not my lines but the lines of my father who have always inspired me by telling the story of Abraham Lincoln who made his way from "The Log Cabin" to "White House". Yess... the 16th President of America, Abraham Lincoln started his life from a log cabin and finally got the White House when he was elected as the President at the age of 52. Isn't the story inspiring...???

14 Feb... Day Of Love..!!
Before starting anything, I would like to say "Sorry" to all my readers and also my blog space for doing injustice to my writings being irregular in posting blogs. Today no excuses as it is the most special day... not only for me but also for all those who are in love or believe in love. Yesss... It's the Valentines' Day..!!
Well, I can say this is the most special Valentines' Day here in JITM till now. I had a great time with my friends.. the persons adding flavor to life..!! The day started from wishing Chinki, my sweet little sister.. the dearest and sweetest person in my life. Then all my friends wished me and I did the same thing. Got chocolates and other such gifts but the wishes are more than enough to be with me. Wishes are the gifts which are bit special as they are to be realised only... no one can even see those and comment on.
The good thing about this day is, this day is not only for the persons in love but also for all those who want to enjoy their life, live their life to the fullest welcoming everything that come their way. Now the day has come to an end but the memories it had given me will be with me for lifetime and I will cherish those forever..!!
HAPPY VALENTINES' DAY...!!

Event of a Day... Memory of Lifetime.. !!

4th Nov' 07... Sunday was the most memorable day in our life till now in JITM. All the branches were going on Picnic to various places. Ours was a bit different as we did not even expect that our branch would also go for a picnic... keeping in view the past days, the misunderstandings between the boys and girls of 5th Sem IT Dept... our branch !!! Although initially we were not at all interested for that but later we all agreed with the hope that this might bring some changes in the tension prevailing in our minds.
Palasa beach was selected as our picnic spot, a place where water is very deep and current level is high (we were quite aware of that before). All the branchmates assembled at a place waiting for the bus to come. We had hired the OSRTC High Tech bus which halts here in our campus. For the first time, we were going for a picnic organised officially. Our trip included students, four faculties, one cook, driver, conductor and helper of the bus.
We started at around 8:00 AM. The atmosphere inside the bus was much better than we had really expected. We played Antakshari which was quite exciting and enjoyable. We reached there at around 11:00 AM and then started looking for a place where we can put our things and have the feast. A place inside the jungle was selected and that was cool. We were all settled and the then started preparing for the feast. There was a birthday boy amongst us... Pravat and so his birthday was celebrated there. Perhaps the luckiest boy on whose birthday girls and faculties were also present. We chopped the vegetables... onions, chillis, mushrooms and then finally paneer and after finishing, went to the beach to have the beach-fun. Lisa, Bandita and Prachi were already drenched. We all joined them. The sea-bath was fun. Waves were rushing towards us in a very high speed... instilling in us the liking towards it !!!
Had a great time there. Made some new friends and that was a wonderful experience. After the sea fun, had a nice feast and then a photo session took place. All were very happy. We had forgotten all the conflicts we had... and that feeling was great !!!
After finishing all the works there, we prepared for our return trip. Again on the way, we played Antakshari. The trip was ultimately a success. That was an event of a day but its memories are for lifetime...
A thing of beauty is a joy forever !!!
