Bundle Of Joys ..!!

This week is a really special one for all of us. Kuku Apa, the 'Star Of Our Family' did it!! She finally succeeded in living her dreams and creating a record. Yes, getting a rank in UPSC is like a dream for many of us but evolving out as a winner and grabbing the topper's position is something which we can only imagine!! Hats off to the girl who actually did it. This is what I would term as 'achieving success'... because getting a 2nd position in the whole country where lacs of candidates would appear and that too when you have a tough job in place, a married life and family and above all, a kid (our sweetheart, Timpoo) to look after! Only she can explain how she feels, that's beyond  my power of imagination. All I can say is, we are really proud of you Kuku Apa! You would stand as an example before us always and we are glad to have someone like you as our role model. Love you a lot <3

Just two-three days after this super-awesome news, the second bundle of joy came in the form Kutu Apa's baby... Aaliya!! Welcome Baby Aaliya to our family... I tell you, you were the most awaited kid in our family! Your Mom kept telling me about your developments and since then, I always wanted to see you. Now that you have actually arrived... you don't know Sweety, how much I want to see you. Your Mom did send me your pictures and you are really a cutie pie! It's hard to resist the fact that I cannot see you in real now! So baby, grow up soon and come soon to India :) We will have fun! Love you <3

As you make your way through this hectic world of ours, set aside a few minutes each day. At the end of the year, you'll have a couple of days saved up!!

Away From Commitments ..!!

Blogging is one activity which never bores me. I can spend hours and hours on blogs... let it be reading the posts, writing new ones, admiring others' blogs or simply experimenting with the various features on my blog. But past few days were too hard for me. I could hardly take out time to update this 'my-space'. I have my own commitments for myself  through this blog space but I failed to cope with them. I know, my excuses are not enough! Dear Blog, I am so sorry for it too!

But now am back! Back to my own self, where every bit of my life rests on this space of mine. I will try my best to keep this updated as much as I can. Till then, stay tuned to this page.. more posts on way :)

Watery Moments..!!

Life becomes really monotonous if changes are not there. To give ourselves a break from our crazy life, we thought of doing something crazier :) We- Myself, Yuvraj, Shirish, Vipin, Apu, Sreemayee, Gopi, Hitesh and Mayank decided to visit a resort (Bluemoon Retreat) where they offered water sports like boating, canoeing, kayaking etc. We started quite late because of the cloudy weather which made us doubtful whether we would be able to accomplish our mission or not. But somehow, ours was a group of highly optimists and enthusiasts! We kept going. That itself was an adventure for we lost our way and in that process covered the same road for three-four times. I guess, that was the best part of it. Although there were questions on the existence of the resort and the security of the place altogether but we were firm in our decision. We got the directions even by calling the contact persons of the resort. After lots of research, brain-storming and discussions, we finally made out way. Going somewhere with Vipin is another story in itself. He would be riding but his thoughts would have taken him to a different land. In that case, all you can do is keep him busy with talks or anything. And most importantly, you have to be really alert even if you know Vip is simply following where others are going, there are chances he would forget that and make you lose your way :P Jokes apart, he is a safe rider (touch wood) and an amazing person to be with. Now, I have mentioned this big story (one golden feather on his cap!) because I was with him :) As always, Vip was simply following the masterminds of the trip (Yuvraj, Shirish..... n others) and I had to be alert to see if we are following them correctly :) Again I also enjoyed the whole ride, as always!

We reached at the resort at around 11:00 (pretty late) but breakfast was still there for us. All these while, I was absolutely in love with the nature! The place was so blessed with plants, trees and was truly a beauty! It was a heaven for the people in love with nature and interested in photography! My cam must have been fully satisfied for the views were just amazing. Soon we made our way to the arena meant for boating and kayaking. Although I love water (beach and river) but water sports are always a tension for me due to my breathing problems. Sree is an exception! With asthma and all breathing problems, she managed really well after diving into the water. Trust me, I was scared for her but she is a brave girl! Somehow I prepared myself for boating (else I would have always regretted for it). I couldn't dive into the water like others did (with life guard and jackets) but being in the boat and surrounded with water is a different feeling altogether! It was awesome actually. After a ride of about 2 hours or so, we landed on the shore and went for lunch. Plan was to play some indoor games but we were so much in love with the water and nature that going back to those usual games didn't excite us. Post lunch, we went for kayaking. It was comparatively scary as you would be all on your own but trust me, it was equally adventurous! Lazy Gopi was with me this time :P And I really had a tough time chasing others. It was fun when we tried keeping all the kayaks together. We gathered at one place for quite some time before rowing back again. Soon the day was shedding down and it was time to go back to the shore. Not forgetting, Shirish was our star performer of the day for he made the first dive and came to the shore swimming! Also I was glad of the fact that Apu did enjoy a lot. She was new into our group but our champs didn't let her feel left out!

We were so busy enjoying the adventure and were glad that it turned out well. God did help us by bringing some sun-light and shutting the rain studded sky for sometime. Meanwhile, we had taken loads of pictures so that we can always go back and cherish those moments. While returning, I came with Yuvraj (my fav rider) and it was fun again. But to add the day's adventure, it started raining and we had to keep a guard on Vip for the reasons I mentioned above. We were badly stuck in the traffic while entering Bangalore. Somehow, the road cleared and we came. Vip got lost in the way but we got hold of him and he was asked to reach his place. Yuvraj and Shirish came to my place to drop Me and Apu. We had tea which was our savior then for we were literally shivering! After they left, I made a hot dinner for myself and Apu and finally, the day ended! I know, many would have cursed for it rained just when we have reached Bangalore but I would say, it added more fun to it. It was indeed a watery day for me!

Before I end, I would like to introduce one more member into our shutterbug group (Me, Yuvraj, Sreemayee and Gopi). Guys, please welcome Shirish into the gang. His Nikon P500 was the star attraction of the day and trust me, it's just amazing. What pictures... what clarity.... everything just perfect! And on the top of it, its great looks... a must go-through for every photographers in my list :) To help you guys in having a look at it and be jealous of it... here is the pic!

Hope to have many such memories in future. You guys rock! Love you all <3

The Gift ..!!

I have always wanted to write this post but could never frame a mindset for this. But today, if I don't write this... that would be unfair because the person about whom I am going to write actually deserves a special space in my blog!

Niraj and I started as colleagues being in the same project team where I could never have had much interaction with him. I don't really know what actually forbade me to mix with him... may be his seriousness. I would always find him lost in his system. If at all we meet at team parties and all, there also he would be silent mostly. In short, the first impression I had about him is, he is a very serious guy!

I discovered more of him when my cubical changed and I was allotted a seat facing him. Initial days were horrible for me...people around me did not talk only... all were serious... all hooked to their systems. The only sound that one could hear was mine and my cubical partner :P By that time, I think I have seen Niraj smiling once or twice which at least cleared my doubt that he is always serious. Mine and my cubical partner's arguments were always a source of entertainment for everyone around that vicinity... Niraj being one of them! In fact, he was our most potential audience then. If we won't shout, he would be bored.... if we are not present, he would miss us... and if at all we do argue over something, he would encourage us by all possible means. All that only means, he was so connected to all those situations ;) By this time, I was dead sure that my first impression of him was all wrong. He is not those serious kinds of guys rather a happy-go-lucky kind of. He works only when he loves to because then only he enjoys. If he is not enjoying, you won't find him at the desk only :)

Interacting with him more, I knew a lot more of him. He has an amazing sense of humor which can make one absolutely roll on the floor. His punches are so well timed that one cannot help bursting out of laughter. I remember, we have had days when we didn't feel like working and Niraj helped us a lot then. With his talks, tine fall short!

Now that he has left the office, it has become boring quite a lot. We don't feel like arguing... the seriousness is back... no much comic punches we ever hear and many more! Yet life moves on and I am really glad that I could meet one of the most wonderful persons ever! Now also when we meet online, he is always ready with the bag of punches and would make me laugh laugh and laugh. What I like in him is his confidence, his easy and cheerful attitude. Anyone can do the work but having the guts of doing only what one enjoys is tough. But he is the sole bearer of this quality. Adorned with many more such uncommon traits, this person is really special and I am really happy to have shared some of my funny moments with him!

I have written almost a story but then also I don't feel satisfied with my writing when it comes to Niraj. He has been encouraging me consistently in writing and it seems I am a bit nervous thinking, how this one would go. I know I won't be able to sum up him my words but then, I have tried my level best to make this post a special one... for a special person... on a special day!

A few words for you :
Because today's so special
It really wouldn't do,
To send one simple birthday wish
To last the whole year through.
So this wishes happy moments...
A day when dreams come true,
And a year that's filled with all the things,
That means the most to you!

Happy Birthday, Niraj!

Corporate Bash ..!!

Quintiles and Ness completed their 4 years of partnership! This reason is enough for a celebration. We had the party at Club Cabana. The place was cool with all water games (which I could not enjoy) but then I had my camera with me, which kept me busy.

We had loads of fun on our way with Antakshari and Dumb Charade... the people around were so fun. Then we had a nice dancing time with the DJ playing at a distant place :) This was special as we had people from outside of our friends' circle enjoying with us. I also tried my hands at playing darts and bowling. That was enjoyable. With all singing, dancing, playing, fun and frolic, the event ended. The photo sessions we had are a proof that we enjoyed in the outing throughout!

Hope to have many such occasions in future :)
Happy 4th Anniversary of Ness-Quintiles!
