Days are being quite boring beacuse of no classes. Once there was a time when we were tired of attending classes but now in final year... things have changed a lot. We are having less classes, more time with us... to enjoy the last days of college. We have started utilising each and every holiday of ours in a different way... let it be in the form of parties or picnics or get-togethers.
Today Me, Reshma, Pooja and Shaswati went to the temple of Lord Shiva located on the top of a hill, near our college. Although Pooja and Reshma were the initiators but later Me n Sha also joined them, quite unaware of what would happen.
The place was a new spot for me... in the four years, I went there for the 1st time. We found our way through the jungle and started for the temple... all four going in a line. As we reached there, the place was completely empty. We had our "puja", then we started our photo session. Really had a great time there... in the midst of nature... in a countryside and in a place where God resides. We were quite busy in our funny activities... taking snaps, recording the activities of each other and also the whole view of the spot. We were expecting it to rain and to our utter surprise it rained, although not heavily. We took the umbrellas of the local shepherds and had snaps with it in various pose. We gave them "the prashad" and took their snaps also. On our way back, we had lots of fun. We went up to the stone hills and also near the trees. The fun was on when we had photo sessions in the table-tennis court, basket ball court and on the tractors near the college main gate. We four really had a blast there.
With all the sweet memories... happiness in heart... smile on faces... we all returned back making the day a remarkable one ..!!

WALK TO REMEMBER
life has always been a learning process with this post of tinki shhe has added a new chapter to it. Its well said for her case "the every stone she crosses automatically becomes a milestone". recognizing beauty in shepherds and sheep's is not an ordinary task u need to have an intellect. so wishing u all the best for future discoveries so we can have plenty to read, sining off A.K.S
I never accepted God the way others perceive him (now why is God always referred as ‘he’, isn’t it gender biasness) but being with nature gives me that feeling of being part of a life force. It’s true that in the rush of life we miss all the subtle idiosyncrasies and the little imperfections those make us human. Nature gives us opportunity to realize that. What Pragyan here shares, being in a place so closed to nature n exploring it for the first time in years, is something I can instantly connect with. I’m from a similar place. Being with friends, going on an unplanned hike, is just the way you keep surprising yourself. I visited a temple last month on the hill top near my hostel, after admiring it every day from my balcony for 3 years. Ironically I went to nature to be close to God and found a temple. I didn’t offer any Puja but I did say my silent prayer as I do everyday. I’m sure Pragyan will cherish this experience forever. Memories are crafted today to be cherished tomorrow, Lets make some.
